About three days late posting

It is now Monday...A cold wet icy one at that...snow melted off but it is snowing wee little drops right now..almost like rain except for the white...melts as soon as it hits the ground...It is in the 30's give or take and this is suppose to be the best day of the week,,,by friday ,,it is only suppose to be in the teens...I can feel it now..just two more months til we hit the first of march..seems like when March gets here ..spring is on the way...I guess our firewood will make it thru the winter..The man in the house(not of the house) keeps cutting and hauling some in each weekend..only thing is ...we had so much rain that the wood is soaked clear thru...making it harder to stay lit and burn....I just keep putting fresh wood on top so it will dry out by the time the bottom is burnt...the glory of burning wood...............well...i havent found it yet....I do like the wood heat..Its a sleepy kind of heat..but the rewards are a lot of dust and dirt to clean up....










last thursday..they cancelled school because of rain or snow...maybe..the southern states got the flooding ..we got the ice and snow...anyways..bob went in and got the 9,6 and 3 year old to bring them down to go sleigh riding on the new sleds that Santa (right) bought them....They had fun to say the least...The greatest thing about sled riding it going down the hilll...I always hated trying to come to the top to start over again...good thing about this sled riding was the sleds were made of a low calibler plastic and were light for them to carry..The 3 year old just played in the snow...afraid to slide ..On occasion one of the boys would grab her and try to put her on the sled...She wanted nothing to do with the sleds...watching them was the fun part for her..these new sleds also had handles on them where you just sat up and turned the handles right or left..



and my canines were sitting watching ..sometimes it makes you wonder what animals think,,,ok..i need to stay away from that statement...bless their hearts..i think they are so purty...the black lab looks like a statue at times.........can never see her eyes....



I dont beleive that my little girl likes the cold weather...She's going to be full grown by the time i get to let her out and run the yard....shes a little porker...hehe...i bet she weighs 35 lb if not more...

ok...i guess i need to jump off of here and take inventory of what supplies we have...I really dont think i will be going out anywhere as the weather is supppose to drop and bring snow...they are forecasting 2 or so inches tomorrow...well..i'm done with inventory...got enough toilet paper to make it till next week..so thats all that matters to me.....

ok..its either go take a nap or fix something to eat...I'm about to starve to death...going to fix leftover turkey and gravy,,,the man in the house(not of the house) will be coming in from work in a couple hours..he is famished by the time he gets here so guess i will have to peel some potatoes as i fixed all the instant ones yesterday....I thought about running out to the little country dollar store about 4 or 5 mile away but didnt want to have to get cleaned up to go...so i didnt...

well.i never take a nap but i am about to fall off this chair..I am going to go hit the couch for a half hour or so..so i will yak when i come back....
