hazy lazy days of summer

well...here it is 8 months and 2 days after that nasty knee replacement....im still alive and kicking but what a trip....my winter was pure hell with physical therapy...which was patient torture...(((((i still think they should change that name..)))))).after countless trips to the doctor..dentist,er room,receracking the knee and not to mention being iced and snowed in i think i have survived the winter and the knee replacement...all in one season...

people still ask,,am i glad i had the knee replacement...no , at this point and time i can still say nooooooooooo definitely no....the knee doesnt hurt itself as far as that goes...i finally got to no pain pills..no sleeping pills,,,but i added a hp pill by the time it was said and done...and what happened to getting down on it ..like the old knee let me do..not so with this one..unless something happens down the road...my squatting and crawling or getting down on the knee days are over.
yes a knee surgery really changes your attitude,,outlook, and life style..but it could be worse.........i can walk..go up and down stairs,,and run at a snail pace but what else can i ask for...age doesnt help either...the joys of getting old....er
and when i figure out the worse part i will let you know....

im here ,im alive...this winter has been a horrible one as far as deaths and friends getting cancer....so i guess there is a worse part...i just hada knee replacement but i hope i am spared from having another one...i dont like doctors,,dentists..hospitals or any kind of surgery on me or anyone im around.

its summer in the country...more bugs and better blooming flowers then i have ever seen..must have been from that cold winter.......heehee..mowing grass,,ball games,,are keeping me occupied at the time.new babies,graduations.and confirmations ,bridal showers.everything is in full swing right now..

ok...its finally warm..for how long i dont know..a couple days last week the jackets were back out again..weather has been going from short sleeve to a jacket...guess we will be griping about the heat soon...so until i return to my blog again..everyone have a safe and fun summer.................
