Recap of the weekend.....

PETEY' CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIE .............................

It was a very very cold and windy and nippy Sunday.....Almost all the eastern states from Alabama on up got the brunt of the last snowstorm..Thank goodness..It evaded us.....I'm hoping we wont see any more snow since we are into March already..but who knows....The weekend was a pretty hectic one....Especially Saturday...

It was the 6 year olds birthday and my brother called and said his daughter had her baby Saturday morning so we have two cousins born on the same date....7 years apart....So of course Saturday we had to have a birthday party for the 6 to be 7 year old...and of course when one of the three has a birthday the other two gets a gift of some sort also....so they will have something they like to play with....The birthday boy was happy with his new 4-wheeler helmet...army men and a new bat bag,,,two ridding outfits ,leg pads and chest protector.....He's all boy and loves the outdoors..

I had to go over and sign him up for little league ball Saturday...He managed to play in 4 leagues in the past three years....Last summer he doubled up..hit a summer league......He has an older brother that doesn't like base ball but plays football..this one doesn't like football ..He's a little on the lazy side when it comes to running laps and doing all the exercises that they do in football....that they don't do in baseball.

Now,,if only it would warm up so they can play outside....spring fever is here.....

OK..recap of the weekend....it is so cold here today (Monday) ..the wind chill is 2...and it is Windy and only suppose to be in the 40's....Hump day is in the 40's and Friday in the 50"s......I'm not going to venture out until the middle of the week...other then to feed my animals...It is suppose to get down to 10 tonight but last night was just as bad............I am outta here to put wood in the stove....later.................
